Abstract

The study focuses on the validation of a measurement instrument designed to evaluate the uses and perceptions of artificial intelligence (AI) among university students, given the growing relevance of this technology in the academic field. The instrument, multidimensional in nature, was structured to cover three essential aspects across three dimensions: 1. Use of artificial intelligence tools, 2. Perception of artificial intelligence utilization, and 3. Additional opinions on the use of artificial intelligence. The validation process was systematic, aiming to ensure the reliability, validity, and applicability of the tool. Initially, an expert judgment was conducted to guarantee content validity and item clarity. Subsequently, a pilot test allowed for adjusting the questionnaire administration and obtaining preliminary reliability data. Finally, reliability analysis (Cronbach's Alpha) was applied to ensure internal consistency. This process concluded with the obtention of a validated and robust instrument, essential for future research on the interaction between AI and the university population.
