ADULTIZAÇÃO PRECOCE E SEUS IMPACTOS NA EDUCAÇÃO BÁSICA: A HIPERCONEXÃO DIGITAL COMO CATALISADORA DO FRACASSO ESCOLAR
Abstract
This article examines the relationship between excessive use of digital technologies and early adultification in childhood, investigating how this phenomenon impacts academic performance, school engagement and learning processes in Basic Education. Based on a bibliographic review of theorists such as Postman (1999), Buckingham (2000) and Turkle (2011), it is demonstrated that premature exposure to digital environments is correlated with declining school performance, increasing dropout rates and socialization difficulties in the educational environment. The study concludes by highlighting the need for specific pedagogical interventions that consider the psychological aspects of child development in face of digital culture challenges.
