The Effect of Mechanical Energy Training and ATP Supplementation on the Kinematic Variables of the Step Phase and Performance Achievement in Triple Jumpers Under 20 Years
Abstract
The research problem emerged from observing weakness in the step phase during the execution of the triple jump. This weakness is attributed to the lack of using mechanical energy training, which is based on a physical law to determine training intensity individually for each jumper, considering body mass, time, and distance. Another factor is related to the level and availability of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in the muscles, as it is the primary compound influencing physical performance and represents the dominant energy system in this event. Additionally, many coaches pay limited attention to the technical aspects of the triple jump within training units compared to physical aspects, leading to a lack of awareness among jumpers regarding the importance of these trainings, despite their familiarity with physical exercises.
