Abstract

The rapid evolution of nanotechnology has propelled the development of flexible, wearable, and stretchable electronics that seamlessly integrate with human life and the environment. These technologies are redefining modern electronics through their lightweight, conformable, and multifunctional characteristics. By leveraging advanced nanomaterials such as graphene, carbon nanotubes, MXenes, silver nanowires, and transition metal dichalcogenides, these systems enable unprecedented performance in displays, sensors, biointerfaces, and smart textiles. The chapter explores recent advancements in material design, device fabrication, and application strategies that enhance durability, sensitivity, and comfort while maintaining electrical integrity under strain. It highlights innovations in flexible healthcare biosensors, stretchable microelectrode arrays, smart garments, and protective nano-coatings. The integration of nanomaterials with advanced fabrication techniques such as direct-ink-writing, electrospinning, and atomic layer deposition has opened pathways for next-generation electronic systems. These developments not only drive progress in healthcare, soft robotics, and environmental sensing but also shape the foundation for sustainable and intelligent human–machine interactions.
