Da diplomacia cultural e a imagem de Espanha na CPLP: notas introdutórias
Abstract
Based on the project “Spain in the CPLP: A New Horizon for Multilateralism” (2025), this article offers some introductory notes on cultural diplomacy and Spain's image in the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), highlighting (i) the diversity, in various dimensions, of the geocultural space encompassed by the CPLP, (ii) the uneven development of Spanish cultural diplomacy in this space, and (iii) the absence of a univocal discourse representing Spain as a whole, although it is identified in the cases of Portugal, especially, and Brazil.
