The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) in recent years has raised concerns about its potential for automation and replacement of a range of professions. While AI has demonstrated its ability to solve many complex societal problems, education remains one of the least vulnerable sectors. Even as machines and technology become increasingly intelligent and sophisticated, they cannot surpass the greatness of a true educator in the classroom. However, not every teacher achieves that greatness upon entering the classroom. This article focuses on analyzing the fundamental skills teachers need to demonstrate their importance and irreplaceability to AI.
