Abstract

This study analyses the use of Educaplay as an interactive digital resource for strengthening students’ language and literature skills within formal educational contexts. Grounded in a mixed-methods approach, the research integrates quantitative data related to academic performance with qualitative evidence drawn from classroom observations and participants’ perceptions. The findings indicate that the systematic implementation of Educaplay contributes to a progressive improvement in key linguistic competences, including reading comprehension, grammatical accuracy, vocabulary development and literary analysis. Beyond academic performance, the results reveal a substantial transformation in students’ motivation and participation. The interactive and playful nature of the platform fosters positive attitudes towards language and literature, encouraging active engagement, collaborative work and sustained attention during learning activities. These affective and behavioural changes act as mediating factors that enhance the overall learning process. Comparative analysis with other interactive resources highlights Educaplay’s distinctive pedagogical versatility, as it enables the integration of diverse activity formats aligned with curricular objectives and students’ learning needs. Furthermore, the platform supports a reconfiguration of teaching practices, promoting a more dynamic and student-centred approach to instruction. Overall, the study demonstrates that Educaplay is not merely a technological tool but an effective pedagogical mediator that enhances both cognitive and motivational dimensions of language learning. Its purposeful integration into teaching practices contributes to more meaningful learning experiences and supports educational innovation in the teaching of language and literature.
