A Conceptual Study of Panchabhoutika Utpatti of Dosha, Dhatu and Mala
Abstract
Ayurveda is a complete system of medicine that focuses on keeping people healthy and managing diseases by understanding the basic rules that govern the human body. According to Ayurvedic philosophy, the cosmos and the human body consist of the same five fundamental elements: Akasha, Vayu, Teja, Jala, and Prithvi. Loka–Purusha Samya is the name for the belief that the macrocosm and microcosm are extremely intimately related. Panchabhoutika is where all the chemicals in the body come from, yet the amounts of these chemicals differ from one structure or functional unit to another. Dosha, Dhatu, and Mala are seen as the most important parts of a living being that keep its body in balance. One Mahabhuta makes up most of each Dosha, Dhatu, and Mala. This Mahabhuta gives the Dosha, Dhatu, and Mala its properties, functions, and signs of sickness. Any change in the qualitative or quantitative balance of these Mahabhuta leads to the corruption of Dosha, Dhatu, or Mala, which results in sickness. To make a correct diagnosis, set up a diet, and arrange therapy, you need to know where these pieces came from in the Panchabhoutika. This conceptual inquiry examines the Panchabhoutika utpatti of Dosha, Dhatu, and Mala, drawing from previous Ayurvedic texts. It also stresses how important this knowledge is for keeping people healthy and controlling sickness. This overview makes it evident how crucial it is to know the basics of Ayurvedic medicine and physiology.
