Abstract

Ayurveda is an ancient medical science that focuses on maintaining health and treating illness through personalized methods. To reach these aims, you need to know what makes up a person. Prakruti is the natural makeup of a person, and it is made up of Doshas at the time of conception. It stays the same throughout life and affects things like the body’s structure, metabolism, mental traits, and ability to get sick. Pitta Dosha controls digestion, metabolism, body temperature, and brain function. People with a lot of Pitta Dosha are called Pittaprakruti. Classical Ayurvedic scriptures delineate the distinctive physical, physiological, and psychological characteristics of individuals with Pittaprakruti. The Bruhatrayee, which has the Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya, and Ashtanga Sangraha, goes into great length on these things. In our day and age, metabolic and lifestyle illnesses are more common because of bad eating habits, an irregular schedule, and stress. Understanding Pittaprakruti aids in illness prevention and the formulation of suitable nutrition, lifestyle, and treatment strategies. This conceptual review tries to put together and study the traits of Pittaprakruti that are talked about in Bruhatrayee so that they may be clearly understood for usage in both clinical and academic settings.
