Abstract

This article presents a comparative dynamic analysis of laboratory parameters in patients receiving hemodialysis. A strong association of fibroblast growth factor-23 with serum phosphorus, calcium, vitamin D, and parathyroid hormone levels was demonstrated, highlighting its central role in the regulation of phosphate homeostasis in the body. These findings were confirmed by the strong correlation relationships observed in patients at the initiation of hemodialysis. In patients undergoing long-term hemodialysis, a reduction in the strength of these correlations was identified, which is associated with physiological adaptation and the therapeutic interventions provided.
