Abstract

This working paper introduces Identity-Bound Confidential Verification Architecture (IB-CVA) as an application-layer extension of EGC ID (Entry Governance Credential). IB-CVA addresses a recurring institutional constraint: organizations must be able to substantiate governance and sustainability claims when challenged, while preserving confidentiality over commercially sensitive information and regulated personal or supplier data. IB-CVA defines an execution architecture for confidentiality-preserving verification by binding evidence access to identity-governed entry credentials (EGC ID) and enabling selective validation interfaces. The architecture is designed to support evidentiary readiness, controlled disclosure, and dispute-response preparedness across institutional workflows. IB-CVA does not establish regulatory standards, compliance determinations, or interpretive authority. It operates strictly as a pre-adjudicative execution architecture: interpretive sovereignty remains fully external to IB-CVA and is reserved for regulators, auditors, verification bodies, and applicable legal or analytical frameworks.
