Abstract

The last metabolic result of human protein catabolism is urea, and the balance between their synthesis and excretion determines the content of creatinine, which is an anhydride of creatine serum urea. A cross sectional study was conducted in Khyber Teaching Hospoital, Peshawar. Study duration was six months. An informed consent was taken from each subject. The goal of the current study was to look at pregnant women's blood parameters. For this reason, blood samples from pregnant women living in Peshawar, Pakistan, during each trimester of pregnancy were gathered. For the study, 81 pregnant women between the ages of 18 and 43 were chosen as participants. The following criteria were used during sampling. This study covered all healthy pregnant women between the ages of 18 and 43. 22 pregnant women are in the first trimester. Of the 22 pregnant women, 18 (82%) were normal and 4 (18%) were abnormal. In the first trimester, 82% of cases are considered normal. Out of 29 pregnant women, there are n = 26 (90%) normal cases and n = 3 (10%) aberrant instances in the second trimester. Thus, out of 30 pregnant women, there were 25 (83%) normal cases and 5 (17%) aberrant cases in the third trimester. 22 pregnant women are in the first trimester. Out of 22 pregnant women n=13 (59%) normal and n= 9 (41%) abnormal cases. We conclude from this study that the blood urea and Creatinine levels are significantly decreased in normal pregnant women.
