Generalized Pulp Stones in a Young Adult having Impacted Third Molar: A Rare Idiopathic Case report
Abstract
This presents a rare case of generalized pulp stones in a 23-year-old Pakistani female. Generalized pulp stones are uncommon findings in this age group. The patient presented with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis in the left mandibular first molar. Initial radiographs showed unusually large pulp stones. A full-mouth radiographic survey revealed large pulp stones in all permanent teeth and an impacted mandibular right third molar. The patient had no relevant medical or family history, and clinical examination showed no systemic or syndromic features typically associated with generalized pulp calcifications. Given the rarity of such extensive calcification, this case highlights the importance of thorough radiographic evaluation when encountering unexpected pulpal calcifications.
