Bədən dili və onun istintaqda əhəmiyyəti. Yalanın müəyyən edilməsi
Abstract
The article analyzes the importance of body language as a source of information in investigative activities and its application in identifying lies on a scientific basis. The purpose of the study is to determine the role played by non-verbal behavioral indicators in distinguishing true and false statements in the investigative process. The article evaluates the elements of body language (gestures, facial expressions, gaze direction and posture) as important indicators in assessing the authenticity of statements. The study emphasizes that micromovements that a person cannot consciously control are considered a reliable indicator of his emotional state. According to the author's approach, body language is not only a means of observation, but also a scientific analysis tool based on behavioral psychology. The study presents methods for systematic observation and interpretation of body language indicators for investigative practice. Non-verbal behavioral models of liars were comparatively studied, and their distinctive features were identified. The results show that there is a mutual relationship between emotional and physiological reactions and body language elements. The article substantiates that the correct interpretation of body language creates conditions for reducing subjective approaches in investigative processes and increasing the objectivity of decisions. At the same time, the need for a comprehensive analysis of verbal and non-verbal indicators in detecting lies is emphasized. The research results provide practical recommendations for improving communication skills for law enforcement officers. The article contributes to the enrichment of existing knowledge in the field of investigative psychology from both a scientific-theoretical and applied perspective. Keywords: body language, lie detection, verbal signals, nonverbal signals, lying, discomfort behaviors, calming behaviors, false emotion, hidden information, psychological manipulation.
