Right Time to Launch Right Heart Journal

Pulmonary hypertension (PH) and right heart failure represent one of the most complex, heterogeneous, and rapidly evolving frontiers of cardiovascular medicine.Despite remarkable advances in diagnosis and therapy, outcomes remain suboptimal, largely because of delayed detection, incomplete understanding of right ventricular (RV) adaptation, and limited precision in therapeutic selection.[1][2][3] Over the past 2 decades, East Asia has emerged not only as an epicenter of epidemiologic diversity but also as a rapidly growing hub of scientific innovation spanning multi-omics discovery, advanced imaging, and targeted therapeutics.4-6 It is within this dynamic and timely context that we launch the Right Heart Journal (RHJ), the official journal of the East Asia Society of Pulmonary Hypertension (EASOPH), together with its partner societies in Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and China.
