Abstract
This article examines the psychological barriers that limit the social activity of women, as well as the mechanisms for overcoming them at the individual and social levels. The analysis shows that a combination of internal attitudes, stereotypes and emotional factors forms persistent obstacles to the manifestation of initiative. The proposed approaches emphasize the importance of psychological support, the development of self-regulation and the creation of a favourable social environment.
