Analysis of scientific research and innovative approaches to ensuring socio-ecological balance of tourism development in mountainous areas
Abstract
The purpose of the study is to scientifically substantiate the theoretical foundations and innovative approaches to ensuring socio-ecological balance of tourism development in mountainous areas, taking into account the needs of local communities, preserving the natural environment and improving the quality of tourist services. The object of the study is the process of tourism development in mountainous areas in connection with social, environmental, economic and management factors. The article reveals theoretical and applied aspects of the analysis of scientific research and innovative approaches to ensuring socio-ecological balance of tourism development in mountainous areas. It is substantiated that mountainous areas have significant recreational, natural, cultural and socio-economic potential, but at the same time are characterized by increased vulnerability to excessive tourist load, chaotic development, pollution, degradation of natural landscapes and loss of local cultural identity. It is determined that the socio-ecological balance of tourism development involves the coordination of the economic interests of the tourism business, the environmental needs of the territory and the social expectations of local communities. Attention is focused on the fact that the effective development of mountain tourism requires a transition from a quantitative model of increasing tourist flows to a qualitative model focused on preserving the natural environment, supporting local entrepreneurship, public participation in decision-making, the development of ecotourism, agrotourism, gastronomic routes, educational and cognitive programs and responsible tourist consumption. The importance of innovative approaches is separately considered, including environmental monitoring, spatial planning, smart management of tourist flows, local tourist clusters, green entrepreneurship and solutions based on applied digital technologies. It is proven that the combination of scientific analysis and innovative practice provides an opportunity to form effective mechanisms for managing mountain areas, reduce the risks of ecological depletion, increase the level of social responsibility of tourist activities and ensure the long-term attractiveness of mountain regions.
