Multi-media as means of instruction
Abstract
In order to improve academic achievement and educational engagement, multimedia instruction which incorporates text, audio, video, and interactive elements has become a global standard. By 2025, this style of training will have evolved from basic material delivery to complex ecosystems that use mobile-first microlearning, artificial intelligence (AI), and virtual/augmented reality (AR/VR). Asia with more than 400 million internet users in Southeast Asia alone, the area has adopted digital technology at a rapid “sprint.” School administrators are spearheading a faster digital change in East Asia, but experts warn of a “digital divide” where disenfranchised students lack the skills to fully benefit from. Europe standardized frameworks, like the European Framework for the Digital Competence of Educators (DigCompEdu), which coordinates the use of instructional technology throughout the continent to guarantee good pedagogical quality, are what define integration. Australia Global trends indicate that it adopts Western methods of high AR/VR integration and mobile learning to reach remote populations, even though particular 2025 reports for Australia were not included in the sample. Africa with an emphasis on how multimedia might enhance academic performance as demonstrated by recent studies where pupils demonstrated notable improvements in science subjects the African Union is actively working to standardize learning assessments through a new continental framework. North America in order to solve issues like student engagement and administrative efficiency, educational institutions are at the forefront of integrating generative AI and immersive technology into classrooms. South America Multimedia elements, such as interactive video production, are employed in rural areas to increase “active learning competencies” and close the equity gap between urban and rural communities.
