The promotion of new executives in Secondary Education: The most recent election process.

The present research focuses on the electoral process of the recent elections of secondary education officials in the three regions of Macedonia (West, Central, East Macedonia and Thrace), with the aim of analysing the participation and election of men and women in positions of responsibility. Through quantitative data, the asymmetries identified from nomination to final election are recorded and evidence-based conclusions on gender representation are offered, contributing to the debate on enhancing gender equality in educational leadership and the formulation of relevant policies.
