A REGRA 3-30–300 COMO DIRETRIZ PARA CIDADES VERDES RESILIENTES: UMA ANÁLISE DA ARBORIZAÇÃO URBANA EM CAMPO GRANDE-MS VIA ARBOLINK
Abstract
The growing pressure of climate change demands new guidelines for urban planning, capable of integrating environmental sustainability with the population’s quality of life. In this context, the 3-30-300 Rule emerges as an instrument to guide urban forestry in resilient cities. This study aims to analyze the application of the 3-30-300 Rule in Campo Grande, the capital of Mato Grosso do Sul, using the Arbolink platform as a tool for mapping and monitoring its forestry. The research seeks to understand the relationship between vegetation cover, the spatial distribution of green areas, and the socio-environmental benefits resulting from the presence of trees in the urban perimeter. Preliminary results indicate inequality in the distribution of trees between central and peripheral neighborhoods, which reinforces the need for public policies focused on environmental equity. It is concluded that the application of the 3-30-300 Rule in Campo Grande can significantly contribute to the construction of green and resilient cities, promoting not only ecological benefits, such as thermal regulation and increased biodiversity, but also positive social impacts related to health, well-being, and environmental justice.
