Abstract

Suicide left ventricle describes the development of dynamic intraventricular gradients after aortic valve replacement due to acute hemodynamic changes that happen after relieving the obstruction leading to hemodynamic collapse. This is a rare complication in transcatheter aortic valve replacement and is underreported in surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR). We present the case of a male patient who presented with suicide left ventricle after SAVR. Keywords: suicide left ventricle, surgical aortic valve replacement, case report
