Membangun Karakter Kewarganegaraan Melalui Pembelajaran PKN Berbasis Kearifan Lokaldi SDN JAJAR 01
Abstract
This study examines the implementation of local wisdom-based Civics (PKn) learning at SDN Jajar 01 amid globalization challenges that erode traditional values like mutual cooperation and patriotism among elementary students. The objective was to analyze how cultural activities build citizenship character. Using qualitative descriptive methods, the population comprised all students, teachers, and the principal, with purposive sampling focusing on fifth-grade students, PKn teachers, and the principal. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, analyzed via Miles and Huberman's interactive model with triangulation. Findings reveal that activities like Jaranan Bantengan dance, Hadrah performances, visits to Watu Kasur site, and field trips to Candi Penataran and Bung Karno's tomb effectively instill values of cooperation, responsibility, religiosity, tolerance, and nationalism through school-community collaboration. In conclusion, this contextual approach creates a sustainable educational ecosystem fostering character development beyond cognitive learning.
