LEGAL AND ECONOMIC MECHANISMS FOR INVESTOR PROTECTION IN DEVELOPING ECONOMIES
Abstract
This thesis analyzes the legal and economic mechanisms for investor protection in developing economies under conditions of institutional transformation and market volatility. It examines constitutional guarantees, investment legislation, international investment agreements, judicial protection, and regulatory oversight, alongside macroeconomic stabilization tools and economic incentives. The study argues that effective investor protection requires an integrated model combining legal certainty, institutional efficiency, and economic stability to ensure sustainable capital inflows.
