THE IMPORTANCE AND ADVANTAGES OF TEACHING PUBLIC-SPEAKING SKILLS IN DEVELOPED COUNTRIES
Abstract
In developed countries, the ability to speak clearly and confidently in public has become an essential component of individual competence and professional success. As economies shift toward knowledge-based, service-oriented, and collaborative models of work, communication skills increasingly determine how effectively individuals can share ideas, lead teams, and participate in decision-making processes. Public speaking, in particular, has moved beyond its traditional association with formal presentations and is now deeply embedded in everyday professional activities such as meetings, project briefings, client interactions, and virtual collaboration.
