THE IMPORTANCE OF COMPLEX HEPATOPROTECTIVE AGENTS IN THE TREATMENT OF LIVER AND BILIARY SYSTEM PATHOLOGIES
Abstract
This scientific study analyzes the effectiveness of complex hepatoprotective and lithoprotective medicinal agents used in the pharmacotherapy of liver and biliary tract diseases. The cellular and biochemical mechanisms of action of a combination of monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, glycine, and L-cysteine hydrochloride are described. The possibilities of improving the functional state of the liver through enhancement of antioxidant defense, activation of detoxification processes, and normalization of bile circulation are substantiated based on scientific sources. The article has practical significance for modern pharmacology and clinical medicine.
