A new species of the genus Platycerus Geoffroy, 1762 (Coleoptera: Lucanidae: Lucaninae) from Sichuan, China
Abstract
A new species of the genus Platycerus belonging to the P. bashanicus species group is described from Erlang Mountain of Sichuan, Southwest China, under the name P. minor sp. nov. Diagnostic characters from the related species P. diluvialis Imura, 2012 and P. xiongmao Imura, 2008 are also provided.
