DIGITAL ECOSYSTEM FOR MANAGING SUPPLY CHAIN RESILIENCE OF TRADE ENTERPRISES
Abstract
The relevance of the study is driven by the increasing level of uncertainty and systemic risks in the supply chains of trade enterprises, which intensifies the need to transform business models and move from fragmented digitalization toward the formation of integrated digital ecosystems for resilience management. Contemporary challenges caused by global crises, pandemics, and military threats highlight the necessity of integrating material, information, financial, and human-resource flows within a unified digital environment capable of ensuring adaptability, transparency, and continuity of supply. The article aims to substantiate the concept of a digital ecosystem for managing supply chain resilience of trade enterprises and to develop a hierarchical and functional and technological model of its formation in the context of the transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0. The research employs methods of theoretical generalization, structural–logical analysis, systems approach, and comparative analysis. The paper systematizes modern scientific approaches to the interpretation of digital ecosystems in supply chain management, clarifies their economic essence, functional role, and key architectural levels. A hierarchical model of digitalization for managing supply chain resilience is proposed, reflecting the logic of the phased integration of digital solutions into the business processes of trade enterprises. A functional–technological structure of the digital ecosystem is developed, encompassing data collection, exchange, storage, and analytical processing layers and ensuring end-to-end visibility of logistics flows. It is substantiated that the integration of Big Data technologies, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, digital twins, and blockchain forms the basis for a transition from reactive to proactive risk management. Such integration enables disruption forecasting, scenario modeling, and timely adjustment of managerial decisions. As a result, the level of resilience, adaptability, and overall supply chain performance increases under conditions of uncertainty and digital transformation. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of using the proposed digital ecosystem as a methodological framework for managerial decision-making aimed at enhancing resilience, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness of trade enterprises.
