Abstract

Traditional vibration-resistant methods have limitations and cannot effectively suppress structural vibration, which may jeopardize the safety of building construction and reduce the operational efficiency of building construction. The article combines BIM technology with the optimal design of TMD parameters of two-way dense ribbed cavity building cover, designs a horizontal omnidirectional TMD device, and introduces genetic algorithm to obtain the optimal TMD parameters. After considering the flutter uncertainty, a case study is carried out based on the two-way dense-ribbed cavity building model constructed by BIM technology. The results show that the flutter vibration control efficiency can reach up to 45.15%, and the longitudinal root-mean-square (RMS) vibration reduction rate of HO-TMD is 15.37% while realizing active frequency modulation. In engineering practice, the introduction of BIM technology can help establish an accurate bidirectional dense-ribbed cavity building cover, which makes the optimized design of TMD parameters more targeted and improves the safety of building construction and operational efficiency.
