Análisis del significado pedagógico y cosmovisional de la cerámica precolombina de la Colección Rumi Kilka (El Contadero, Nariño, Colombia)
Abstract
This article aims to reflect on the pedagogical and cosmovisional significance of the pre-Columbian ceramics in the Rumi Kilka Collection, pieces found by chance in the San Juan area of the Cuevas district in the municipality of El Contadero, Nariño, in southwestern Colombia, a place once inhabited by part of the Putisnán community belonging to the Pastos nation. The methodology is based on direct observation contrasted with a literature review selected for its relevance and availability in specialized and reliable online databases. The results indicate that these pieces, through their production process, geometric motifs, colors, biological representations of human genders, elements in the clothing, and shamanic significance, reveal their relationship to Andean cosmology. Therefore, it is concluded that, as historical archives of clay, they preserve fundamental principles of the Pastos people's worldview and have remained emblems of identity and resistance, where education becomes a space for finding common ground among diverse meanings.
