Abstract

Digital media continues to reshape how students connect with knowledge, with memes emerging as a creative medium for learning and expression. Exploring how memes influence the way students experience education provides new insights into the intersection of technology, culture, and pedagogy. The study drew on the students lived experiences through in-depth interviews, focusing on how they perceived and engaged with educational memes in their learning journey. Students view educational memes as meaningful learning supports that enhance engagement, understanding, and emotional comfort when used appropriately. Simultaneously, students recognize the need for careful and purposeful use to prevent distraction and loss of academic focus. The findings suggest that educational memes can serve as effective supplementary tools when aligned with lesson goals and learner context.
