Evaluation of Serum Albumin, Urea, and Creatinine in Broilers Fed Yacon Powder–Supplemented Diets
Abstract
The present study was conducted at the Poultry Experimental Station, Department of Poultry Husbandry, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences, Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam, to evaluate the effects of varying dietary levels of yaccon powder on blood metabolites in broilers. The present study evaluated the effects of graded dietary inclusion levels of yaccon powder on selected blood metabolites of broiler chickens. A total of four dietary treatments were used: control (0% yaccon powder), 0.5%, 1%, and 2% yaccon powder supplementation. Serum biochemical parameters including albumin, creatinine, total protein, and urea were analyzed to assess the metabolic and physiological responses of broilers to yacon supplementation. Results revealed a significant increase (P
