Total 53 samples were captured and was sorted out into two species of genus Euparatettix i-e: Euparatettix tricarinatus (Bolívar, 1887) and Euparatettix indicus Hancock, 1907 which were captured from the streams swampy places where the algal growth is abundant along the sides of wet and bushy areas around some cash crops including Wheat, rice sugarcane, mango orchids, grasses and wetland areas.
