Abstract

macrophage subset with low phagocytic activity and high angiogenic potential, linked to poor prognosis. Our findings uncover key mechanisms driving LSCC malignant progression, offer insights for early diagnosis and prognosis assessment, and highlight MIF as a promising therapeutic target.
