Dual pseudomodular property of subgroup lattice of dihedral group
Abstract
In this paper, we investigate stronger lattice property namely dual pseudomodularity than lower semimodularity of the lattice of subgroups of dihedral group D n .It is proved that the lattice of subgroups of dihedral groups is dually pseudomodular.Also, it is proved that the lattice of Hall subgroups of dihedral groups as well as the lattice of pronormal subroups of dihedral groups is dually pseudomodular.Further, a characterization of the lattice of subgroups of dihedral group to be dually atomistic is obtained.
