Leveraging edtech for inclusive education
Abstract
The Australian edtech industry is a $3.6 billion industry, with nearly half of its products targeted toward K-12 schools. As these tools become increasingly embedded in classrooms, it is critical to ensure they are designed, used and governed in ways that support all students. One in four Australian students now require an educational adjustment due to disability. This paper outlines dimensions of and responses to this growing need for inclusive educational technology.
