Abstract

Image volumes of human cadaveric proximal femurs are utilized to better understand the underlying structure of human bones, especially a bone that is prone to fragility fractures. Image volumes are saved as .ORSObject files, and are easily opened using Dragonfly (Comet, Montreal, Canada). PseudoDXA files are saved as .tiff and can be opened with ImageJ2 or Dragonfly.
