ACRL/Choice webinar: Use of AI for Writing and Research in STEM
Abstract
Academic libraries are the champions of information literacy, with the mission of teaching learners to think critically, act ethically, and turn information into new knowledge. Teaching how to responsibly and strategically integrate AI into scholarly practices is emerging as a pillar of information literacy instruction. When AI is used as a supportive writing tool, it offers dynamic possibilities. These slides were developed by Yulia Sevryugina, University of Michigan, to deliver meaningful best practices and tactics for integrating AI responsibly into writing and research, while navigating the AI challenges of bias, credibility, and ethics.
