Abstract

Few studies have explored student perceptions of online learning during COVID-19 from outside the discipline of education (Abbasi, 2020; Shahrvini et al., 2021). Herein we explored the perceptions, attitudes, and overall learning experiences of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) students towards online learning. Ontario University students ( n =166) were sampled via a mixed method convergent research design. Results suggest most prefer learning in person, few students value group work online, most have difficulty communicating with their instructor, and student learning format preference influences their perceptions of online learning.
