Abstract

The paper studies the influence of the added commutating inductance, ensuring ZVS conditions, on the dynamic behavior of the zero-voltage (ZVS) phase-shift controlled full-bridge (PSFB) converter. The mutual influence of the converter parasitic elements on the circuit's operation is also investigated. This analysis considers different distinct values of the commutating inductance, providing a comprehensive perspective on the system's behavior under varying conditions. The theoretical study of the ZVS-PSFB converter's open-loop main transfer characteristics is verified through simulations. The theoretical results are verified through the LTspice simulation study of the converter's operation during the abrupt load changes.
