Dimensiones de sostenibilidad de los medios nativos digitales
Abstract
This study analyzes the sustainability criteria of native digital media, to develop a specific typology of media sustainability standards based on three dimensions: business model, audience trust, and social responsibility. The Delphi methodology is used to achieve a reliable consensus among 16 communication experts from Spanish consulting firms and universities. The results confirm expert agreement on three key aspects that define media sustainability: 1) promoting specific initiatives, such as reconnecting with audiences through projects targeting local communities; 2) linking financial sustainability with innovation and diversification, and 3) Prioritizing corporate social responsibility based on ethics, information transparency, data protection, and the promotion of diversity.
