Replication Data for: Strategic Bureaucratic Silence
Abstract
Replication materials for the article "The Architecture of Strategic Bureaucratic Silence". This dataset contains a fully reproducible R script that: (i) retrieves archival metadata from the Foreign Relations of the United States (FRUS) via the Office of the Historian API; (ii) constructs a panel dataset (1950–1990); (iii) estimates interaction-based generalized linear models with robust inference; (iv) performs stationarity diagnostics; and (v) reproduces all figures reported in the article. All data are retrieved programmatically from public archival sources. No simulated or proprietary data are used. These replication materials are provided for verification and scholarly use, in accordance with the APSA Ethics Guide and the International Organization Replication Policy. Any reuse of the code or procedures should cite the original article.
