Abstract

Model-driven design has significantly enhanced the developmentprocess of functional designs, with AUTOSAR providinga respective integration platform. However, modern agiledevelopment setups pose a challenge for software architects, requiring continuous evaluation and adaptation of the diversefunctional relationships among an increasing number of components. These relationships are only partially representedwithin the AUTOSAR API and are implemented in projectand hardware specific solutions. The Logical Execution Time(LET) paradigm offers a structured approach to support agiledesign processes, while necessitating a coordinated effortbetween top-down design and bottom-up integration. In thispaper we explore the requirements and propose solutions toaddress these challenges.
