UK survey of physiotherapy after breast reconstruction
Abstract
Many breast cancer patients undergo either immediate or delayed breast reconstruction surgery after mastectomy. Physiotherapy is an important component of postoperative care but there is currently lack of guidance about what exercises should be recommended after breast reconstruction surgery. The aim of this UK survey is to explore current physiotherapy treatment of breast reconstruction patients.
