COMET Project: Match Preprints to Published Journal Articles

This project developed an automated matching strategy to connect arXiv preprints with corresponding journal article publications, achieving 95-96% precision and 90% recall. The project increased preprint-to-publication connections from 45% to 71%, adding over 730,000 new connections to the scholarly record, improving research discoverability and interconnection. All project outputs are connect as related identifiers.
