Abstract

Cancer risk is influenced by lifestyle behaviors, psychological stress, and environmental factors, and its incidence is increasing among younger populations, particularly women. College-aged women often experience lifestyle changes and elevated stress due to academic and social pressures, which may contribute to long-term health risks, including cancer. However, awareness and perception of cancer risk in this group remain limited. The present study aims to assess lifestyle patterns, stress levels, and perceived cancer risk among college-aged women, and to examine the association between lifestyle-related risk factors and cancer risk awareness. The findings of this study may provide baseline data to support health education initiatives and promote lifestyle-based cancer prevention strategies among young women.
