Impact Of Balance Diet On Nutritional Status And Health Among Adolescents
Abstract
Adolescence is a critical period of growth and development, marked by increased nutritional demands and heightened vulnerability to dietary imbalances. A balanced diet plays a pivotal role in ensuring optimal physical growth, cognitive development, and long term health outcomes. However, dietary patterns among adolescents are often influenced by socio-economic, cultural, and behavioral factors, leading to nutritional deficiencies or excesses. This survey-based study aims to assess the impact of balanced dietary practices on the nutritional status and overall health of adolescents. The project will employ a structured questionnaire to collect data on dietary habits, food frequency, lifestyle behaviors, and health indicators from a representative sample of adolescents. Anthropometric measurements and self-reported health outcomes will be analyzed to establish correlations between balanced diet adherence and nutritional status. The findings are expected to highlight the prevalence of balanced versus imbalanced dietary patterns, their association with nutritional adequacy, and implications for adolescent health. The study will provide evidence based insights to inform nutrition education programs, and public health policies targeting adolescent populations. Ultimately, this project seeks to emphasize the importance of balanced diets in promoting healthier generations and reducing the risk of nutrition related disorders.
