STRATEGIC APPROACH TO PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT IN AGRICULTURAL HOLDINGS
Abstract
In the context of modern challenges, strategic decisions for human capital development are becoming a critical element of the competitiveness of agricultural holdings. Without qualified, motivated and adaptable personnel, even the most modern technological solutions and financial mechanisms lose their effectiveness. The aim of the article is to determine the profile of farms that have the potential to improve their personnel management based on a strategic approach. The implementation of HR practices is not widespread, which necessitates the introduction of structured mechanisms for staff selection and retention. In this sense, the following recommendations may be appropriate: Creation of specialized HR units in larger farms to coordinate the processes of selection and integration of workers; Use of digital recruitment platforms to connect employers and candidates in real time, including mobile applications aimed at seasonal employment; Financial and non-financial incentives for staff retention in smaller farms - social benefits, flexible working hours, training opportunities; Creation of conditions for training through internships and training programs in small farms.
