Abstract

Water Resilience Framework is an applied policy and planning research project examining water resilience as core economic infrastructure within urban and regional systems. The project focuses on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), Blue-Green Infrastructure, Nature-based Solutions, and ESG-aligned governance, with comparative insights from Australia and Southeast Asia, including the Philippines. The framework integrates water security, housing resilience, land-use planning, and disaster risk reduction to support climate adaptation and long-term economic stability in water-stressed and monsoon-exposed contexts. It is intended to inform policymakers, development partners, researchers, and practitioners engaged in sustainable development, climate resilience, and infrastructure governance. Outputs include working papers, policy analyses, and visual frameworks designed to support evidence-based decision-making and resilient urban and regional planning.
