Landwirtschaftliche Reststoffe und Koppelprodukte für die Produktion von Biogas

Agricultural residues such as manure and harvest by-products are potential resources for producing biogas. This thesis aimed to investigate the opportunities and challenges associated with utilizing agricultural residues. The study suggests criteria for improving the repeatability of kinetic constants of residues estimated in laboratory tests. Furthermore, it presents promising pre-treatment processes for improving the kinetics and the biogas yield of residues in continuously operated digesters. Finally, the study quantifies the unused biomass potential of residues in Bavaria that is available without interfering with other needs.
