Abstract

Genomic analyses of human and murine tumor materials are a cornerstone of cancer research. However each analysis presents its own bioinformatic challenges, particularly the varying tumor purity of human samples (preventing quantitative analyses) and the immunoincompatibility of murine cells (preventing immunological matching in transplantation experiments). My work addresses these challenges with new tools to advance the understanding of cancer genomes and to improve functional cancer research.
